About SOWNN, LLC
SOWNN, LLC is a worldwide ministry that publishes books, creates custom apparel and produces original ministry garments, flags and banners. Many of the products created from SOWNN, LLC has been and continues to be ministered on the mission field in Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Brazil, Argentina and the United States.
SOWNN,LLC was founded by Carmen Lancaster in May 2016. It all began when she began to design and create outfits and flags for her and her husband, Kamau, as they were invited to minister in dance at marriage conferences, weddings, retreats, and special celebrations. Carmen and her husband would envision the garments to wear based on the song or theme of the event and then God would use Carmen to create them. All of the garments created were God-inspired, not from a pattern or person, but fully inspired by God. Many would ask for a replica of the garments and flags used over the period of over five years. After encouragement and support from her husband to start a business, in May 2016, she officially began SOWNN, LLC.
Over the years, we have supplied and sewn ministry worship flags and garments to many churches and individuals throughout the U.S. and around the world. Our products have been featured in fashion shows, in conferences, praise dance events, and a music video.
In 2020, in the midst of the worldwide pandemic, SOWNN began its multiple outreach efforts by distributing food and toiletries to the homeless throughout the downtown Richmond, Virginia area. From 2020 through 2022, we continued to GIVE BIG during the fall season. Alongside annual meetings with the Carol Adams Foundation, we gave truckloads of clothes, toys, and supplies to those in need. We also assisted in giving to the Pregnancy Crisis Center of Chester and area churches.
In 2022, Carmen published her first book, “SOWNN into DESTINY”. This breakthrough book marked the beginning of many books now published physically and digitally internationally. In 2025, God laid on Carmen’s heart to create a book to sow into mothers named, “Mama You were Born for This!” which is a tool of ministry to mothers walking through motherhood. Additionally, in 2022 SOWNN began her custom apparel services to Tshirts with the “In Christ I Win” Line. SOWNN continues to provide excellent custom apparel services to Tshirts, hats, sweatshirts and tote bags.
In January 2025, after publishing its own books for many years, SOWNN officially began providing its publishing services to the general public. SOWNN Publishing serves the community in helping future authors birth their stories and release their story to the masses. We seek to inspire generations to tell their story to invoke change and glorify God.
We count it a privilege and an honor to serve our community. We will continue to make a difference in our nation and in our world.

Carmen Lancaster is the owner and founder of SOWNN, LLC. As a believer in Christ, creative, mompreneur, author, publisher, educator, mentor-coach, she counts it a joy to lead SOWNN, LLC and help so many people to birth their God-given gifts. She loves to read and write as well as dance for the Lord as well as enjoy time with her husband and children. She attests to God being the reason behind her passion to create ministry garments, flags, banners and books. She loves to help authors and creatives birth their visions through books.
She has truly found her passion to manifest creative vision for God’s Glory.
